Marketing Communications Assistant
- 3-6 months Temporary Role
- Location: Wallington, Surrey
- Hybrid: 3 days in the office (core days Monday & Wednesday)
- Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum DOE
We’re looking for a Marketing Communications Officer to join a busy, creative team for a 3–6-month temporary role. You’ll play a key part in delivering marketing and communications activity across digital and offline channels, supporting internal and external campaigns that drive engagement and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Coordinate with agencies and suppliers to ensure projects run smoothly and to budget.
- Collaborate with business development and regional teams to deliver joined-up campaigns.
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistent messaging and design.
- Contribute to campaign reporting and analytics to measure success and inform future activity.
- Support internal communications, including intranet updates and e-newsletters.
- Monitor social media channels and assist with ad hoc marketing activity.
About You
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of marketing best practices, including digital and social media.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with email tools such as Mailchimp and CMS platforms.
- Good eye for design with experience using Canva or InDesign.
- Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism.
- Previous experience in a marketing or communications role.
- Postgraduate marketing qualification (or working towards one) desirable.
