Lloyd Recruitment Services is thrilled to collaborate with a leading company based on the outskirts of East Grinstead who are seeking a dedicated Office Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.


Position Overview:


As an Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the business. Your responsibilities will include maintaining direct communication with the Director, Managers, Customers, Suppliers, and other external Stakeholders.


This hands-on role requires excellent organisation and a proactive approach to ensure the office runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Support the daily running of the office and ensure smooth workflow across departments

  • Manage customer interactions from start to finish, maintaining accurate records and meeting service goals

  • Liaise with senior managers to handle customer queries and challenging situations

  • Anticipate and address customer needs to deliver a professional and positive experience

  • Organise schedules, meetings, and administrative tasks to support team efficiency

  • Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment


Key Requirements:



  • Previous office-based and telephone handling experience (would also consider retail/ hospitality)

  • Confident, outgoing, and proactive with strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organised with great attention to detail

  • Polite, professional, and a strong team player

  • Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities
