Our client is a leading player in the Financial Services market, who are now looking for an individual to join them as a Marketing Lead.
Responsible for the Global Marketing function, covering a specific area of the business, we are looking for an individual with a fresh approach and angle, who will enjoy taking charge and creating the results needed for further success.
Working closely and collaborating with Senior Leaders of the company's global line of business as well as the Global Risk and Broking Marketing Leader within the marketing division. Along with supporting programmes and methods, you will be in charge of developing and putting the marketing strategy into action.
The Role:
Work with key stakeholders, especially business leaders, sales leaders, and service / product leaders, to develop marketing plans that support business and revenue growth priorities
Oversee planning and budgeting
Provide informed advice and guidance to key stakeholders on the most appropriate marketing and communication programmes as well as advising on broader areas like research, competitor analysis, digital marketing etc
Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities by analysing the outcomes using relevant marketing data and analytics
Oversee the development of marketing campaigns that support the execution of the agreed marketing strategy
Awareness of the competitive environment of the insurance industry and an understanding of how marketing strategy and plans are positioned
Develop good working relationships and foster collaboration with colleagues from across the marketing and communications function, including CoE’s (Communications, PR, Digital, Events and Research/Analytics) to coordinate effectively and support the delivery of marketing programmes and activities
Essential Experience:
Proven marketing experience within insurance / professional services
Experience in the European and North American locations
Proven experience in digital marketing and marketing communications across a broad spectrum of offline and online media
Significant experience working globally
Self-motivated and organised with ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
A good eye for detail and ability to think logically through projects as well as issues that present themselves
Ability to engage, communicate and lead calls/meetings effectively with senior business leaders, drawing on strong marketing and business acumen
