- Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to offer an exciting experienced Senior Digital Marketing Manager a fantastic (2-3 day in the office, remainder can be worked remotely) opportunity, you’ll be liaising with the digital team and other digital functions, brand marketing teams, medical, legal and other business units.
The main purpose of the role is to take a lead on developing and executing innovative, integrated and effective UK digital communications and solutions. These solutions should meet the needs of target customers and support business goals and financial objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
PLANNING AND PROJECT DELIVERY
Work with brand teams to identify common needs or business opportunities for which digital capability or solutions are required. Identify priority activities aligned to priority brands, their critical success factors and customer insights.
Act as the local digital lead, often driving campaigns through to execution or supporting the country brand lead with advice and guidance.
Digital solutions, content and channels
Manage the production of highly effective digital content - ensuring that it is always vibrant, engaging, on message and conforms to the very highest standards of practice.
Manage content and customer experience across all digital channels, including websites, email marketing, search, third-party advertising, social media and mobile.
Ensure involvement and consultation with our audiences and other key stakeholders when developing digital activity.
Maintain excellent knowledge of the trends and direction of digital media, to enable identification and development of innovative solutions to drive business goals.
Cross-functional Working
Develop constructive internal cross functional relationships with appropriate business departments (for example: legal, medical, brand marketing) to facilitate team working, the exchange of information and development of business opportunities.
Identify and adopt best practice. Proactively provide digital marketing expertise, with a view to strengthening brand plans or supporting implementation of digital tactics.
TECHNOLOGY
Act as the company sponsor when processing projects through medical and legal review.
Make basic amends to the content management of websites via the self-service (content management system) functionality.
Liaise with internal enablers to ensure timely delivery where relevant.
Align local projects with European-led initiatives to ensure alignment.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Plans submitted to timescales
Feedback from XFT members on project management and delivery
Development of programmes in line with accounts ops plan.
Digital solutions, content and channels
Delivery of programmes within agreed timelines and within agreed budget
Programme issues resolved in a timely manner (e.g., resources, timelines, communication and other problems)
Compliance with relevant internal and external procedures, e.g., global standard operating procedures relating to promotion, ABPI code of conduct.
TECHNOLOGY
Demonstration of up-to-date knowledge of relevant procedures and standards applicable to role and marketing practice
Cross-functional working
Attendance at appropriate meetings to share good practice, ensure that national issues are recognised appropriately, and support business adoption and integration of multi-channel strategies into brand and field force customer plans
Feedback from internal stakeholders and key contacts on relevance of information.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Required:
Degree or equivalent education
Experience of a wide range of digital platforms and channels
Strong understanding of online user behaviours and information architecture
Capable management of agencies
Multi-disciplinary skillset to deliver projects
Proficient in web analytics: collection, interpretation and subsequent action to deliver on organisational objectives and business plans.
Understanding of the UK regulations surrounding digital media within the healthcare environment
Demonstrated experience in managing projects, programmes, or workstreams of varying levels of complexity
Experience with managing and aligning stakeholders of varying levels of complexity
Commercial experience (e.g., sales, marketing, commercial operations.)
Preferred:
Brand marketing experience - brand planning
Strong oral and written communications capabilities
Good presentation and facilitation skills
Fluent with technology solutions to manage projects including appropriate Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Demonstrated strength in business analysis
Proactive in identifying issues, opportunities and proposing solutions
Basic understanding of finance
