- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a leading IT Solutions company who are in search of a 1st Line Support Engineer to join their growing team on the outskirts of Sevenoaks.

About the role:
As a 1st Line Engineer, you will be an integral part of our dedicated team of engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include providing ticket support on the Helpdesk and handling hardware maintenance tasks. You will resolve various tickets, such as user setups, software installs, hardware fault finding, VPN troubleshooting, NTFS permissions changes, hosted service issues, email fault finding, mobile device support, and user profile problems.
In this dynamic role, you will have opportunities to attend client sites to fulfil prescheduled projects and offer reactive troubleshooting. Your passion for obtaining new technical knowledge and engaging with senior colleagues to expand your skillset will be highly valued. A general knowledge of Windows technologies, including Windows Server and Desktop operating systems, is essential to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities:
Handle ticket support on the Helpdesk and perform hardware maintenance tasks
Attend client sites for prescheduled projects and reactive troubleshooting
Demonstrate a logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting
Continuously expand technical knowledge by engaging with senior colleagues
Utilise the products and services within our established portfolio to recognise new business opportunities and escalate them into sales
Fulfil other duties in line with business needs
Required skills:
Proficiency in Windows Server 2003-2019 and Windows Desktop XP-10
Familiarity with Hosted Desktop and Cloud computing
General user and email administration skills
Office 365 tenant setup and administration expertise
Basic networking capabilities (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
Desirable skills and experience:
VMWare/Hyper-V administration knowledge
VoIP experience, preferably with 3CX
Support experience with Apple products
Group Policy administration skills
Cabling experience
Exposure to Ubiquiti/Cisco Wireless technologies
Previous experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
Recognised accreditations (MCP's, CompTIA, Apple)

A history of being a proven self-starter
Competitive salary depending on experience - £20k - £25k
Monday to Friday – fully office based
