- Lloyd Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Specification Sales Manager to join our client, a market leader in providing high-quality construction materials. Based in Central London, this is a hybrid role with both office and home working.
As the Specification Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing direct technical/specification activity mainly in London. You will act as an important valued adviser/product consultant to architects, building contractors, façade consultants, and other key decision-makers in the construction industry.

Our client's work can be seen across all the major towers in London, and as a Specification Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and innovative projects.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the construction sector
Building and maintaining relationships with architects, specifiers, and other key decision-makers
Developing and delivering presentations to clients on the benefits of our products
Managing the sales process from initial enquiry to contract signature
Ensuring compliance with Data Protection/GDPR regulations at all times
Other duties as requested by the MD.
Essential skills:
To be successful in this role, you should have a business-related degree or equivalent, as well as work experience with architects advising products for projects
Strong presentation skills and the ability to demonstrate products to industry professionals
Flexibility to attend company events to network and demonstrate new product ranges
Flexibility for occasional international travel to the company’s head office in EU
Understanding on specification sales and understanding of technical drawings
You should also be highly motivated and able to self-manage, with strong problem-solving and organisational skills
An eye for detail, confidence, and strong interpersonal skills are also essential
Exceptional IT skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience of using CRM systems are desirable
