Working as the Service Desk Manager, you will be responsible for leading their talented team of eight Service Desk Technicians, ensuring clients are providing a quick and high level of service at all times.
The Individual:
A minimum of two years proven experience working in a Service Desk Manager / Senior / Team Leader role
Technically minded, whilst being able to relay information to non-technical customers
An approachable, friendly personality – enjoy being part of the wider team
Highly organised
Excellent written and verbal communicator
Possess a broad understanding of; Microsoft Windows based technologies (i.e. Active Directory), Networking (i.e. switches, firewalls), Backups (i.e. Veeam, off site), ITSM (i.e. SLAs, dashboards, reports)

The Role:
Oversee the operation of their business-as-usual service desk function
Be a compassionate and inspiring leader to the growing team of helpful and talented service desk representatives, including frequent one-on-one meetings and the development of career development programmes
Establish effective working relationships with customers and third-party partners
Improve best practises and toolkits, such as ITSM, knowledge base, security practises, procedures, and critical incident response, for example
Take advantage of your senior position within the company, with frequent interactions with senior peers
