The role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Motor Insurance Broker to join a growing, successful broking team who support customers by arranging commercial passenger carrying motor insurance. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and move to the next level in your broking career.
You will be based in newly built, bright, and well-equipped offices in Heathfield!

Day to day responsibilities of an experienced Motor Insurance Broker:
New business quotations, adjustments, and renewals through use of IT systems
Inbound and outbound telephone calls / emails
Cross sell products and/or lead generate to other teams
Maintain relationships with insurers
Development of team members
Allocation work tasks
Success is measured by achievement of agreed key objectives which include new business converted, renewal retention and customer satisfaction
Person Specification:
Ideally at least three years previous experience in a similar Insurance Broking role
Working knowledge of Durell or similar broking software preferred but not essential
Good standard of general education and literacy
Confident telephone manner
Reliable and supportive team player
Competent user of IT systems, specifically MS365 (Outlook, Word etc.)
Willingness to be flexible, learn and progress – Chartered Insurance Institute exam support
A full driving licence with own transport is essential in this role
Salary £23k-£25k depending on experience
