Joining a team of 6 who handle the UK B2B clients, as well as Global Risk and Analytics areas of a leading international financial services company
Taking control and managing their 20 business Webinar Training Events for businesses
Encouraged communication with senior management and stakeholders, and actively promote room for personal and career improvement at all stages
Working 1 days from the London office (City location), the remainder from home – however, probably a need for 1-2 days in the office initially to familiarise and build relationships with colleagues and key players
A basic salary of up to £46k + corporate benefits package
We are searching for a hardworking, ambitious Marketing Executive, to join our client’s busy team, you’ll be responsible for supporting the activities of 2-3 Marketing managers, but taking charge of their business webinar training events – 20 p/annum currently. The responsibilities of this role vary and means you will preserve and advance a recognisable global brand, as well as supporting the company's growth and revenue objectives.
Despite the fact that the position is headquartered in Great Britain, supporting GB Retail and Global R&A, you’ll be collaborating Business teams and Marketing colleagues throughout the worldwide network.
You will play an important supporting role in implementing the marketing plan, making you a crucial coordinator for all marketing teams and functions:
Marketing Delivery:
Key support to the Marketing Managers in the delivery of marketing plans and all elements and tactics within agreed timelines and budgets.
Coordinate and liaise with regional and global marketing colleagues
Support the Marketing Manager with the delivery of client events – face2face and webinar
Liaise with the event teams for brand and process alignment
Evaluate marketing campaigns to ensure that the activity is helping the company to achieve its sales goals – using the activity to help guide and improve future marketing initiatives
Manage the marketing mailing activities; ensuring that mailing lists are accurately built according to their target audience
Actively support and advise stakeholders during project execution, and deliver to their needs, with a sense of urgency and accountability
Co-ordinate the company’s B2B Training Academy programme – a client facing series of webinars which includes event site ownership, email co-ordination, booking speakers, arranging CPD accreditation and managing stakeholders and overseeing “on the day”
Business Awareness:
Develop and sustain a solid understanding of the products, services and solutions that the Line of Business/Campaign offers to clients
Understand the importance of global connectivity for growth of the global business teams and collaboration with industry initiatives
The Requirements
Relevant marketing experience is essential, ideally 3 years + and if gained within a professional services or a B2B environment this would be perfect.
Proven experience in marketing communications across a broad spectrum of offline and online media (e.g., Print, direct mail, email marketing)
Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle a large workload and prioritise work effectively
Strong communication skills paired with the ability to use your own initiative and work unsupervised, while recognising when to escalate issues or ask for help
