Geographic area covered:
1 hour from Surrey office (8am starts / 4pm finish on site).
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer/ Electrician/ Heating Controls Engineer, to join one of the UK’s leading consultancy, designer, installer and maintenance of renewable energy systems throughout the UK.
Working on both new and service cases, you’ll be flexible in your approach to work, and looking forward to being part of a team of other Field Engineers.
Duties
Installing and testing of the electrical works of new renewable energy systems, such as ground-source heat pumps, air-source heat pumps and Solar AV.
Handling service repairs, fault finding, controls set up and commissioning, before handing over the completed system to the client when set to work.
Desired Skills & Experience
Trained and qualified at least to BS 7671 18th Edition
Experienced in installing, testing and producing test results according to UK wiring regulations
Preferably you will have a previous knowledge, or at least a strong desire to learn about heat pump and PV systems - heating system controls would be a benefit
Able to show initiative in work and have the discipline to follow designs and apply the regulations
Preferably you hold a valid CSCS or ECS card

A company van, tools and work clothes will be provided for company use.
Driving licence (no more than 3 points)
