We are seeking an individual with ideally previous packaging experience from within a Pharmaceutical / Medical / Clinical environment, to join an international client on a 1-year temporary contract (with high probability of further extension).
This company provides reliable packaging solutions to clinical trial patients, so ensuring that not only does it meet the highest standards of the company and regulatory guidelines, but also the stakeholders is paramount.
It’ll be your task to ensure that these packaging activities are performed from initial request through to completion – that all their internal packaging facilities or third-party locations, with in the agreed timelines and meeting the initial request parameters.
Overall, this post will require project management, supply chain management, communication, and effective collaboration skills, to keep errors to a minimum.
Key duties:
Effective communication at all levels - internal and external, including Supply Chain and Operational stakeholders
Assess package requirements and ensure the correct materials are being used and be part of the team to develop practical and efficient packaging designs, including labelling requirements across a network of global packaging vendors and internal packaging facilities.
Work with internal contacts to drive the progress of the packaging operation to ensure timelines are met
Working with Inventory Management, Quality Assurance and Global Analytics to coordinate and drive the progress towards deadlines.
Develop relationships with other packaging organisations
Use project management skills to plan, schedule and assess risks to complete the job
Maintaining on-time delivery to the customer
Key Skills:
Experience in a clinical supply chain (2 yrs+ ideally)
Previous working knowledge of packaging and project environments would be very beneficial.
Excellent planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
Articulate in both verbal and written communication
Good attention to detail
Excellent numerical skills
Ability to manage multiple projects at any one time – within strict deadlines and guidelines of the industry.
Due to the nature of the organisation, you will be required to pass security screening, including DBS.
