- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working for a leading care home who are in search for an Accounts Administrator/ Invoicing Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. You will be providing administrative support to the Director who is based in Horley.
Hourly rate: £10 - £14 per hour
Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:30
Start date : ASAP
3 days per week at least – more hours available
Purpose of job:
Implement actions to meet and maintain administrative and financial standards on the business. Assist the development of the philosophy, goals and objectives for the administrative and financial practice.
Duties and responsibilities:
3 days a week to begin with then full time
Looking for someone to hit the ground running with invoicing, accounts payable
Experience using Xero would be advantageous but not essential
Experience with payroll would be advantageous but not essential
Provide administrative duties to Director and support for office staff based at the Home
To provide administrative and financial services for the Care Home in accordance with current best practice
Liaising with the Director of the Home, Home Manager(s), and HR Assistant
To supervise the administrative and financial services within in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, in line with accepted best practice and develop effective working relationships with employees
Ensure accurate accounts are kept of all financial transactions
Audit records to ensure compliant and ensure that Residents’ rights are protected
Provide support regarding payroll
Expectations:
Previous experience in Accounts & Payroll (desirable)
Strong administration capabilities (essential)
Happy working in a full office-based role supporting the Director with any tasks required
To be polite, courteous and considerate at all times
To respectfully communicate (both verbally and non-verbally) with residents, residents’ families and fellow colleagues
To work in safe manner using the appropriate equipment and necessary cleaning materials
To strictly maintain the confidentiality of information relating to the Residents
Working hours are 9:00 – 17:30 or 8:30am- 16:30
3 days per week at least – more hours available
On-going temp contract for 4-6 weeks
