Are you looking for an opportunity to gain 12 months experience within an international distribution company?
Keen to put your financial reporting skills to the test - you’ll be supporting colleagues throughout Europe, Africa and Middle East?
Are you interested to work alongside and learn from key contacts within the company, including: Senior Financial Analysts, Finance Managers and Finance Directors from a variety of countries?
As a Junior Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, conducting the following key activities:
Management Reporting and Finance Reporting Analytics
Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting (PBF)
Presentation development and preparation
Data Validation
Report consolidation and submission
Roles and Responsibilities:
You will assist Finance leaders in their role of providing financial management and analysis services.
Preparing and validating the accuracy of Financial Management Reports. This includes reports with high visibility to senior management such as Revenue and P&L Reporting
Significant involvement in Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting with preparation of variance/KPI reporting and system submission support.
Data collection - Gather data from internal in-house systems and external systems and sources necessary as required.
Root Cause Research - Researching business related variances, identify variances as manual accounting error or legitimate business movements
Performing ad-hoc investigations and analytical reporting as required.
Working with a variety of technology - including various financial systems used by the company, as well as new technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Dashboarding Tools, etc.
Involvement in team-based projects that arise within the Finance Team.
The Ideal Candidate:
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Solid Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Self-assurance to liaise with colleagues at all levels
Enthusiastic and pro-active approach
Relevant education & qualifications to a career in Financial Analysis
Up to 3 years experience in a similar role and a desire to learn from colleagues is a must
