- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a manufacturing company in the Edenbridge area who are looking to recruit for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team.
Salary £22K - £26K depending on experience
Monday to Friday
Duties
Ensure all supplier invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner and approved by the appropriate manager
Sales Ledger/ Credit Control providing a full Credit Control function
Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders, ensuring any deviations are questioned and highlighted to the relevant manager
Inputting staff expenses
Developing new reports within CRM systems
Reconciliation of control accounts
Prepare monthly payroll
Ensure all supplier statement are reconciled and copies requested where needed
Complete various balance sheet reconciliation to support the Management Accountant
Any other activities or tasks, within the role holder’s capacity as determined by the line manager
Invoicing and reconciliation of monthly accounts
Assisting Management Accountant with month end accounts, commissions and monthly reporting
Posting of BACS, CHQ and Credit Card payments in GBP, Dollar and Euro currencies
Aged debt reduction and reporting
Importing and analysing of data between CRM systems
Experience:
Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant
General accounting knowledge
Sage 50 Experience
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent knowledge of MS office and outlook
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent customer service
Must be able to work from own initiative and also work well within a team
Flexible approach to adapt to changing needs of the company
