Description
Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a manufacturing company in the Redhill area who are looking to recruit for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.  

 

Salary £22k-£26k depending on experience

Monday to Friday

 

Duties

 



  • Ensure all supplier invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner and approved by the appropriate manager


  • Sales Ledger/ Credit Control providing a full Credit Control function


  • Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders, ensuring any deviations are questioned and highlighted to the relevant manager


  • Inputting staff expenses


  • Developing new reports within CRM systems


  • Reconciliation of control accounts


  • Ensure all supplier statement are reconciled and copies requested where needed


  • Complete various balance sheet reconciliation to support the Management Accountant


  • Any other activities or tasks, within the role holder’s capacity as determined by the line manager


  • Invoicing and reconciliation of monthly accounts


  • Assisting Management Accountant with month end accounts, commissions and monthly reporting


  • Posting of BACS, CHQ and Credit Card payments in GBP, Dollar and Euro currencies


  • Aged debt reduction and reporting


  • Importing and analysing of data between CRM systems


 

Experience:

 



  • Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant


  • General accounting knowledge


  • Sage 50 Experience


  • Excellent attention to detail


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • Excellent knowledge of MS office and outlook


  • Excellent organisational skills


  • Excellent customer service


  • Must be able to work from own initiative and also work well within a team


  • Flexible approach to adapt to changing needs of the company
