- Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a leading engineering company in the East Grinstead area who are looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join their busy and expanding team on a fulltime permanent basis.

The role
Review drawings, create computer programs (Haas) with specified commands to produce required parts on vertical machining centre.
Responsibilities:
Review drawings of items that need to be made
Translates instructions into a computer programme with specified commands for the machine to follow
Select correct tooling/fixture for the required component
Set machine and load it with the correct cutting tools
Position part ready for working, including material supplied
Completion of Shop Floor Data Capture MRP with honest program and running times
Produce to a high standard finish and tolerance to pass quality control requirements
Indicative Performance Measures
Correct interpretation of drawings into parts
Minimum wastage
Timely delivery of parts
Documentation on job route card
Essential Skills & Experience:
Education / Qualifications:
GCSE Mathematics
NVQ Mechanical Engineering
Professional Skills/ Abilities:
Computer programming skills MDI (manual data input)
Preferably literate on Haas (Fanuc type)
Ability to produce programming offline
Must have experience with 3, 4 and 5 Axis
Fanuc Control – Haas Machine
Program, set and operator the CNC Machine
Personal Qualities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Capable of passing on proven program
