Lloyd Recruitment Services are recruiting for a Fire Door Installer to join a growing accredited fire door and security company operating across London and the South East.
This is a permanent, field-based role suited to an experienced engineer with a strong background in fire door installations, remedial works, and maintenance. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality fire door solutions while ensuring compliance with fire safety standards across a variety of client sites throughout London and some in the South East.
Essential:
- Proven experience installing and repairing fire doors
- Experience carrying out fire door remedial works
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong knowledge of fire door compliance and installation standards
- Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites
Desirable:
- BM TRADA Certification
- FIRAS Certification
- Additional fire safety qualifications
- Experience installing complete doorsets and door leaves
Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry out fire door remedial works, maintenance and repairs to industry standards.
- Install complete fire-rated doorsets and door leaves.
- Ensure all works comply with current fire safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Work safely and maintain high standards of workmanship at all times.
- Liaise with management regarding daily work schedules and project updates.
- Maintain excellent communication with customers and colleagues, delivering high standards of customer service.
- Be flexible with travel throughout London and surrounding areas to various client locations.
- Maintain accurate job records, including installation and maintenance documentation, and submit all required paperwork promptly.
- Represent the company professionally whilst on-site.
