Project and Contract Coordinator

 

Salary:           £25,000 - £30,000

Location:      Sutton

 

 

We are seeking a confident Project and Contract Coordinator, looking to join an expanding organisation, covering the immediate Sutton and surrounding areas.

 

Our client is looking for someone to be responsiblefor Creating, Maintaining, Reviewing and Administering the Project schedules.   

 

This can only be achieved through relationship building with Project Managers, Operations Manager, external stakeholders and the end client.

 

You will also engage and be responsible for the delivery of the project once agreed.

Responsibilities:


  • Providing critical service support to the Operations Manager and wider project team.


  • Ensuring the successful mobilisation, delivery and handover at each stage through robust controls, governance and company procedures.


  • Assisting the PM/OM on each project with associated work package descriptions. To create a project schedule in alignment with the project lifecycle model using a planning tool Microsoft Project.


  • Baselining the project schedule and managing changes to the schedule in accordance with the defined project change and configuration control processes. In order to identify and flag changes in the project scope and impact on the project schedule.


  • Gathering estimates for individual work packages with the support of the project team and performing a critical path analysis.


  • Resource load the individual project and optimising the resource demand versus resource availability in order to generate a realistic project schedule and supporting the Head of Programmes in the generation of short- and long-term resource allocation plans based upon input from key stakeholders.


  • Gathering, collating and analysing cost information in support of project budgeting and cost control.


  • Providing organisational support to the PM/OM, QS and /or CM for all contract governance requirements.


  • Ensuring records are maintained centrally on Dynamics and other in-house systems as required.


  • Following project governance and group policy and standard operating procedure.


  • Ensuring management of project risk and execution plan with the aid of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)


  • Timely and accurately reporting, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and company policies and procedures.


  • Auditing project administration and governance activities as required, ensuring that all contractual responsibilities are being met in order to protect the Company’s interests.


  • Reviewing sub-contractor selection and subsequent performance.


  • Coordinate project delivery ensuring timescales & budgets are met and that contractual and legal requirements are fulfilled.


  • Producing performance reports & analyse KPI’s.


  • Providing timely & accurate financial information reports against budget plans, as required.


  • Inputting financial data onto IT systems.


  • Being responsible for co-ordination of project delivery within budget and team plans and target.


  • Developing and managing contract budgets and forecasts and ensuring team ownership.


  • Supporting the PM in reporting, resource, financial forecasting and earned value management.


 

 

The ideal employee will have:


  • An advanced level of Excel and Microsoft Dynamics and accompanying supported software / platforms.


  • Experience in Property Service Experience, ideally within a Planned Works Environment Project Coordination and subcontractor management.


  • Knowledge of NEC 4 and Construction Experience would be beneficial and desirable.


  • PRINCE 2 or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential
