Lloyd Recruitment Services are work working with a leading media and events company based in West Sussex, recruiting for a B2B Editor. The company has produced a wealth of market leading portfolios for over 25 years and is very well regarded across all its different sectors. The role:
Source, produce, and edit relevant and accurate content that spans print, digital and event products. Including a full print editorial features list
Create new and interactive digital content
Prioritise attending external customer sales appointments with sales team, face to face presentations and attend relevant industry exhibitions and networking events
Become a flag bearer/brand ambassador for the brand within the relevant sectors
Manage the overall editorial production schedule – ensure print deadlines are met, quality check designs and help source imagery, ensure accuracy of content
Support the existing safety, facilities and fire/security teams in contributing relevant cleaning/facilities related content when required
Ensure that you keep up to speed with market developments in order that we can act/react appropriately
Maintain high standards of internal communications to ensure effective team work between editorial, sales and production
Work closely with theHead of Editorial and wider publishing team to explore, develop and recommend brand extensions and additional revenue generating activities. Including, but not limited to, webinars, podcasts, round tables, live events, digital conferences, delegate days and sponsored video content
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
Attend industry events including all relevant events to provide support, live reporting and networking. Some international travel may be required
Be a judge for industry events or other industry awards if required
Be available to participate in seminar sessions/round table sessions at industry events
Assist where needed in curating content for seminar theatres at in house events
Film, interview and assist with production of video content for related shows (internal training will be provided by Head of Editorial)
Produce engaging content through social media channels being an ambassador and content promoter for the publication
Curate e-newsletters/editor’s pick newsletters
Experience required:
Applicants must have a solid track record in B2B journalism in order to be considered for the role.
