Part Time Grant Administrator -Pharmaceutical or Medical Exposure



~ 4-month temporary assignment ~ 24 hours per week (flexibility with days) ~ Weekly Pay ~ Pension Contribution ~ Paid Holiday ~ £18.45 - £19.75 p/hour (PAYE)



We are searching for a Grant Administrator to join our client in the Surrey area.



You will be providing expert support to the UK organisation on management of all Independent Medical Grant requests.



Systems Used:





  • Responsible for the administration of individual healthcare / research organisation funding requests and competitive grant schemes within the Global Medical Grant.


  • Investigator Sponsored Research Grants


  • General Research Grants


  • Quality Improvement Grants


  • Medical Education Grants


  • Liaising with relevant internal stakeholders about competitive calls and organisation funding applications concerning their alignment with the relevant therapy area medical research strategy




Compliance:





  • Liaise with Legal colleagues to maintain and revise agreement templates


  • Maintain a working knowledge of the applicable regulatory environment


  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of different processes, policies and procedures and how these relate to the implementation of studies and interactions with healthcare professionals and healthcare organisations.




Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:



Required:





  • Previous experience gained in a pharma / medical environment


  • Interrogate complex reporting systems to identify required actions


  • Ability to clearly communicate information and concepts which may be complex in nature


  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills


  • Excellent time management and prioritisation


  • Strong negotiation, networking and stakeholder management skills and confidence in influencing without authority


  • High degree of cross-functional collaboration


  • Ability to work effectively in a team and matrix environment


  • Able to work under autonomous conditions


  • Confidence to liaise with internal stakeholders at all levels


  • Manage multiple tasks and deal effectively with deadlines


  • Creativity, resourcefulness, high energy and flexibility


  • Solution focused with a flexible and pragmatic approach


  • Upholds values, drives high standards




Desirable:





  • Experience of using grant management systems


  • Medical, pharmacy or postgraduate level science degree
