We are working with an established technical company, in their search for a Marketing Coordinator to compliment their business with various expansion plans for 2021.
As a true all-rounder you will be working closely with each sales division and product management teams. You will look to understand the products 'key features’ and learn about the target markets.
The role is being classed as "shared resource" across the various sales and business divisions, so you’ll be kept busy with supporting and coordinating relevant marketing communications, to further increase brand awareness, and ultimately generate new leads and increase sales for a growing product range.
You will be responsible for a range of activities such as event management, social media management, assisting of press releases, keeping websites up-to-date, advertising and PR.
Duties:
Event and exhibition management; planning the logistics from shipping the products to events, getting stands ready, arranging & booking travel, as well as coordinating the technical aspects before launching the event. This includes travelling to events as and when required.
Organise and streamline product offerings into user-friendly concepts.
Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management.
Improve search engine results by employing SEO tactics.
Work with social media platforms and ensuring the platforms and the company website are updated and reviewed on an on-going and proactive basis.
Develop and implement marketing campaigns in partnership with the sales and product management teams, and external agencies, employing an appropriate mix of communication channels, including press releases, online campaigns, advertising, exhibitions and events.
Analyse the results and measure the effectiveness of such campaigns and present results and reports to sales teams.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Experience gained from within a technical environment is preferred
Education to include a degree in a marketing discipline
Expert PC skills using various software applications, including MS Office, web browsers, mail shot services. Adobe Creative Suite would be an advantage
Experienced on all major social media platforms - LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.
Experience reflecting COMMS activities including direct mail, advertising, events, websites, online marketing, PR.
Strong communication skills with excellent interaction skills, able to communicate with internal staff and outside agencies at all levels.
Confident to present information in one to one, group situations or via online platforms.
Ability to prioritise workload and hit deadlines and within budget.
