Join a leading charity, where you will handle information of a criminal and personal nature
Individuals will be required to provide a high level of customer service
Working a four on / four off shift pattern
We have a number of opportunities to join an expanding department, where you’ll be handling a range of confidential calls from members of the public on a variety of different subjects, and recording accurately the information provided.
Closing date for applications is the 31st January 2021, however those applying will need to possess or happy to apply for a basic DBS certificate prior to this closing date, if shortlisted.
The role:
Handling a wide range of calls from members of the public, in a sensitive and tactful manner, gaining information for onward passing to a range of professional services.
Handling confidential information in a professional manner
Processing information from website links
Skills and experience required:
Previous experience of dealing with people on the telephone
Ability to handle sometimes difficult calls and to reassure distressed callers.
Confident and mature approach to probe further with relevant questions to maximise information gathered.
Articulate, confident telephone manner
Ability to process information whilst retaining confidentiality
PC literate with the ability to learn new systems
24/7 Shift Pattern
Hours: Four on four off (includes weekends and Bank Holidays)
7am - 7pm
8am - 8pm
2pm - 12am
9pm - 7am
