Starting salary £20376 (rising to £21459 after six months’ probation)
Exciting opportunities, to work for a leading charity, in a rewarding customer service position.
Joining an expanding department, you’ll be handling confidential calls from members of the public on a variety of different subjects.
Working shift patterns are as follows: 24/7 – four on / four off
Day 1: 7AM – 7pm
Day 2: 8am – 8pm
Day 3: 2pm – 12am
Day4: 21pm – 7am
The role:
Handling a wide range of calls from members of the public, in a sensitive and tactful manner
Asking questions to ensure that maximum information is gained from every call
Forwarding information to relevant third parties to be actioned
Handling confidential information
Processing information from website
Skills and experience required:
Previous experience gained in a customer services / call centre environment.
Ability to handle sometimes difficult calls and to reassure distressed callers
Articulate, confident telephone manner
Ability to process information whilst retaining confidentiality
PC literate with the ability to learn new systems
