- Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a leading Art Gallery in Fulham who are now searching for a Gallery Manager to lead their team.
You would be responsible for managing and motivating the gallery staff, driving sales and representing the brand in the London Gallery. You and your team will provide a professional and welcoming environment for all visitors to the London Gallery and adopt a proactive sales approach.
You will ensure the gallery hits the monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets by following up on sales leads, web histories and incoming sales enquiries, reporting back on sales and opportunities.
You will work closely with your clients and develop relationships through clear and regular communication and demonstrate best practice to your team.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Sales:
Work with Sales Director to set gallery sales targets
Drive sales in order to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
Produce weekly gallery sales report, commenting on sales and opportunities and send to the ‘Sales Report’ email group
Adopt a proactive sales approach, maximising all sales opportunities
Follow up on all sales leads
Communicate effectively with new and existing clients, ensuring you achieve set sales and email targets
Use the CRM effectively to manage clients, leads, quotes and orders, ensuring client details are up-to-date and future follow-ups set
Gallery Management:
Manage gallery staff, ensuring the gallery is manned daily and covering in the event of absences
Provide a welcoming environment for all visitors to the London Gallery, maintaining a professional manner at all times
Work with the Operations Director to ensure the gallery is well stocked
Maintain displays, ensuring the gallery looks presentable at all times and that the best stock is on display
Oversee and assist with delivery requirements e.g. packing and organising deliveries, selecting stock, planning wall displays, hanging artwork and pricing
Ensure the gallery is locked up and alarmed at the end of each day
Balance petty cash and keep efficient records of financial transactions
Organise and attend gallery events
General
Clock in and out so that Kelio records are accurate
Attend UK based trade-shows when required
Salary between £27K - £30K DOE plus benefits
Working hours - 11am - 7:00pm
