- Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a leading event’s organiser based in the Crawley area who are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join their expanding team!
Their principals have always been based around supporting and sharing our wealth amongst our key contributors – our staff! To reward the great work they do, they have staff summer and Xmas parties to exclusive destinations; previous trips include Dubai, Vegas, Cannes, and Sicily. We work hard and play hard and candidates should be excited to do both.
Your main duties will be there to introduce and sell sponsorship packages on their portfolio of B2B events to prospective clients. Their product offering is world-class and have a credible and trusted reputation for the client to rely on.
Salary between £20k - £25k DOE plus £60k OTE

The role:
Lead sourcing prospective clients, finding the most relevant companies to attend our events then identifying the right contacts for any given organisation
High levels of outbound sales call to prospective clients to give them an understanding of how our business model works and how it can benefit them
Manage prospective clients through the sales process, highlighting the best package for their requirements
After obtaining a client, managing that client effectively; maximising yearly spend and introducing them to the other events in our portfolio
You will also be expected to travel to events 5-10 times a year, where you will help run the event

Ability to work in a target driven environment
Hardworking – this isn’t always a 9-5 role, the harder you work, the more successful you will be
Natural sales ability
Events related degree- Desirable
B2B events back ground-desirable
Sales experience within IT/ public sector- desirable
