Proven experience in overseeing PR and social media campaigns
What you will be doing:
You will oversee accounts, take responsibility for managing, planning, execution, and results with the team. The role will involve developing strategies and activities for clients alongside senior directors, while overseeing the execution and quality control of all aspects of the clients’ programs and relationships with the agency.
You will be accountable for the development of quarterly and forward-looking activity plans for clients
Writing all of the day-to-day written material for clients including press releases, features, statements, Q&A’s, speeches, presentations, award entries etc.
Managing monthly evaluation reports for existing clients
Taking the lead role in meetings with existing clients, ensuring all preparation is well organised and senior directors are fully briefed on meeting contents
Utilising relevant business contacts to ‘add value’ to client programmes
Writing first stage creative new business proposals with direction from senior directors
Identifying and pursuing publicity opportunities to ensure the maximum level of coverage is achieved for your client, project etc.
Preparing and participating actively in meetings both internally and externally
Overseeing the management and organisation of events ranging from workshops, photo calls, press conferences, and training days etc. on behalf of clients.
Commissioning and analysing research including surveys and focus groups where required, and leading the media roll-out to achieve maximum coverage
Alerting clients to PR risks or opportunities presented by broader areas of corporate responsibility
Motivating and supervising your team, including handling internal issues and problems before escalating to senior directors
Implementing and supervising progress of PR campaigns, including delivery against KPIs
