- Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a leading media company based in London recruiting for a Digital Marketing Executive to join the busy events team.
They are looking for a highly motivated, analytical Digital Marketing Executive who can work on the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns to deliver brand and direct objectives.
To manage the day to day maintenance of the website
To develop and manage digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels to deliver brand and direct objectives
To oversee a social media and paid social strategy
Managing Google AdWords campaigns across multiple products
Key accountabilities
Website management:
Manage the day to day maintenance of website and develop it in terms of UX
Liaise with internal support to log and resolve any bugs on Jira
Create and manage online content using WordPress
Paid campaigns:
Create and manage PPC campaigns for multiple products, testing landing pages and analysing results on a weekly basis
Proactively find innovative ways to boost campaign performance and ensure a ROI
Work with the commercial team, keeping them up to date with the performance of campaigns, issues encountered and any opportunities found
Use Google Analytics data to produce regular reports on site conversion and recommend changes
Implement lead generation through affiliate links and conversion campaigns across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
SEO:
Oversee the implementation and management of the website SEO, technical, onsite and offsite content requirements
Manage a range of SEO including link building, analysis and website auditing from a content and technical perspective
Social media:
Manage social media accounts including the social media calendar
Weekly/monthly reports on performance, growth, engagement and revenue driven from channels, plus reports on ad-hoc/seasonal social campaigns
Research audience preferences and discover current trends
Develop innovative and creative content across social media platforms and contribute to the overall social media strategy
Email marketing:
Design and send email campaigns on a regular basis
Delivering A/B site testing to improve conversion using E-shot
Other:
Manage a marketing intern
Assist in installing bar code scanners for our partners
Key results areas:
Increase web traffic and conversions by increasing social and organic traffic as well as gaining new traffic
Ensure a ROI for PPC campaigns
Produce high impact and link-worthy content for website
Increase social media visibility
Increase the number of newsletter subscribers
Skills & competencies:
Strong copy writing, communication and presentation skills, with ability to present and explain key information clearly
Excellent level of spoken and written English
Creative thinker and problem solver
Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Proven ability to multi-task, manage and prioritise multiple campaigns maintaining a key idea for detail
Sound judgement with ability to interpret and analyse complex data and make recommendations
Qualifications and experience:
Business degree (or equivalent) ideally related to marketing or communication
Working knowledge of Analytics platforms such as Google Analytics & Google Search Console, Moz
12+ months of hands-on experience running Search campaigns on either agency or client side and how to measure and run successful campaigns
Experience with SEO best practice and actively keep up to date with emerging SEO trends
Knowledge and understanding of Hootsuite, E-shot
Keen eye for design
Google Certified Professional status will be a plus
Functional understanding of traditional HTML would be an advantage
Salary up to £22,000 plus company benefits
