- Lloyd Recruitment Services are excited to be working with a successful events organisation based in Horley. They are currently recruiting for an Events Executive to join their busy and very successful team.
The candidate will be heavily involved in events marketing, among other areas, and will get the chance to put their stamp on a variety of industry leading events and products. As an Events Executive, they must be confident, ambitious, well organised and will be responsible for the planning and logistics across a selection of brands. For the right candidate, there is potential to grow within the role.
Responsibilities:
Strong organisational and administrative skills are a must for this role – the candidate will be confident writing promotional copy for marketing e-mails, brochures, letters, adverts and online that’s tailored to the specific audience
Excellent communications skills are required to liaise between busy sales teams, email team, designers and other colleagues to keep marketing campaigns on track
Attend and assist at your events, which may include travel abroad offering onsite support including bag packing & registration
Keep track of and ensure your data is GDPR compliant
Excellent time-management skills are needed to work on numerous campaigns simultaneously
Working closely with design teams to produce marketing materials and lead chasing to maximise the event revenue
Any other ad hoc duties as requested
Competencies and Personal Specifications:
Ability to develop productive working relationships quickly
A confident and positive “can do” attitude
Solid Excel skills
Ability to prioritise workload and work on own initiative and as part of a team
The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
The ability to build strong working relationships, both internally with your teams and externally with suppliers
Preferably candidates will come with some events experience, however, not essential
Salary of £17K – £21K
