Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a well-established and rapidly expanding specialist within the fire safety sector, who are currently seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service & Installation Engineer to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to join a supportive business offering long-term career progression, varied work, and strong earning potential.
As a Service & Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and commissioning of fire safety systems across a range of sites.
Your duties will include:
- Servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and fire extinguishers
- Attending reactive callouts to diagnose and rectify faults
- Installation and commissioning of new systems
- Completing service reports and providing recommendations
- Participating in a call-out rota (1 week in 6)
Key experience:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience working with fire alarm systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confidence using tablets/laptops to complete reports
- A proactive, reliable, and professional approach
- You should also be comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong awareness of health & safety practices
