Lloyd Recruitment Services is pleased to be working with a national organisation in search of an experienced Inventory Controller to join their busy and dynamic operations team.
- Position: Inventory Controller
- Location: Bristol
- Salary: £30k - £35k DOE

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual to take ownership of inventory control processes within a fast-paced, operational environment. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate stock levels, managing asset movement, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and standards.
Inventory Controller Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor stock levels across multiple locations to ensure availability and accuracy
- Track the movement of assets and materials between depots, warehouses, and project sites
- Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts
- Maintain up-to-date records of inventory using company systems
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies or issues in a timely manner
- Work closely with internal departments including operations, procurement, transport, and service teams
- Ensure all inventory is compliant with safety standards and inspection schedules
- Support the wider team with planning stock for key projects and operational demands
Inventory Controller Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in an inventory control, stock management or asset coordination role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with inventory software or ERP systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across departments
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of logistics, plant hire, or depot operations would be beneficial
