Van Driver (6-12 month FTC)

£25,200 FTE (DOE) 

Lloyd Recruitment Services are currently seeking an experienced Van Driver to join a friendly and hardworking team within a local business near Horsham. 

This is a varied role combining multi-drop deliveries across the Southeast and South London some general warehouse support duties. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team. 

Key Responsibilities of the Van Driver: 

• Deliver goods to both trade and domestic customers


• Handball products and materials


• Complete scheduled drop-offs across the South-East and South London


• Load and unload the company van each day, ensuring all goods are handled safely


• Assist in the factory when required


• General housekeeping and tidying of the workspace


• Follow delivery schedules and route plans, adapting to any changes during the day


• Provide friendly and professional service to all customers


• Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean and in good condition, reporting any issues promptly 

What You’ll Need: 

• Full, valid UK driving licence


• Proven van driving experience (ideally in a multi-drop or delivery role)


• Excellent customer service and communication skills


• Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow route plans or adapt to last-minute changes


• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on the road
