This exciting opportunity is located in West Sussex and is dedicated to driving growth within the EMEA market for cutting-edge technologies.
Job Role Overview: As a vital member of our esteemed EMEA field-based sales team, you will be the driving force behind creating new business prospects within the German market. Your primary focus on technology products and solutions will be instrumental in shaping the company's future. This position offers a unique blend of technical solution sales and frontline business development, involving regular interactions with engineers, buyers, and senior management.
To thrive in this role, you will require hands-on technical experience, ideally possessing a relevant degree in electronics or electrical engineering (or similar further education).

Key Responsibilities for the Sales Manager:
Cultivate new customer relationships and identify opportunities for our range of technology products and solutions across various markets, including Medical, Industrial, and related sectors
Exceed sales targets across the portfolio of products and systems
Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to securing design-ins for new business prospects
Conduct on-site visits to gain a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and provide tailored solutions
Offer timely and accurate opportunity pipeline forecasts to the EMEA Sales Director
Maintain a strong presence in the designated EMEA region by visiting clients and prospects
Provide insights into market trends, competitor activities, and product developments
Foster seamless communication with project teams to maximise business opportunities
Collaborate closely with product and marketing teams to stay updated on new products and developments
Ensure meticulous data management within the company's CRM system
Experience and Skills:
Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., German, French, Italian) is advantageous but not essential
Proficient in written and verbal communication in English
Demonstrated experience in selling technology products and solutions
Skilled in negotiation and adept at managing customer expectations
Excellent organisational skills, effective time management, and workload prioritisation
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Reliable ability to meet deadlines
Prior exposure to working with global customers
Proficiency in IT tools, including Windows, MS Office, CRM Tools, and SAP
Possession of a full, clean driving license
Willingness to travel frequently within Europe
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven track record in successful key account sales for a manufacturer of technical products and solutions
A degree in electronics or electrical engineering or a similar field would be advantageous
Background in an HMI/electronics manufacturing company is beneficial
