Our client continues to see year-on-year growth through their innovative and relational approach to the market and are now looking for a Trainee Sales Executive to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a person who enjoys speaking with customers and keen to develop a career within sales. Our client will provide full training which will leave you potentially earning a very competitive salary of £36,00 in your first year!
Starting salary of £22,000 £24,000, with an OTE: £35,000 - £36,000
20 days holiday plus bank holidays on top – holiday increases with years’ service
Monday to Friday 8.45am - 5.30pm

The role:
Our client is looking for a Sales Executive who is motivated, energetic and genuinely personable for this trainee-level sales position. You will spend your days picking up the phone, hunting for sales opportunities and developing relationships with prospective customers. Developing relationships with industry associations and suppliers as well as customers is key to this role. You’ll need an appetite for sales, a keen interest in business finance and the ability to thrive as part of a fast-paced, dynamic and high performing team.
This role will expand and develop over time, with the potential of becoming a field-based position. Progression will be dependent on the successful completion of the internal and external training provided, along with your aptitude and ability.
Working alongside our team of Business Development Managers, you’ll be building and maintaining the company database, generating sales leads, providing customer support and qualifying marketing generated opportunities.
Arranging meetings, requesting financials and general sales support will also be required with the opportunity to learn the entire sales process including industry regulations.

Diploma in Asset Finance (DipAF)

Reviewing Financial Accounts

Who we need:
Polite and friendly phone manner - confidence to pick up the phone and build great client relationships
Ability to work to and achieve set targets
Experience in new business development (desirable)
Good administrative capabilities
Ability to work to deadlines and be organised
Excellent communication and ‘people skills’
Business sense, initiative and enthusiasm
Competent in using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
