** 3-month contract initially ** Mon to Fri 9-5pm **
** £17.48 p/hour ** £300 car allowance **
To provide a high quality of service to the Associations Homeowners (leaseholders and shared owners), intermediate rent tenants, ensuring they are managed in accordance with the terms of their lease or tenancy agreement.
Duties:
Provide a customer focussed service responding to homeowner enquiries in accordance with the association’s standards of service Deal with enquiries relating to leasehold and shared ownership re-sales, re-mortgages and staircasing transactions.
Liaison with solicitors and mortgage companies and attending court as required.
Responding to enquiries and processing application for the Right to Buy and Right to Acquire
Liaising with solicitors and other relevant parties.
Undertake formal and informal consultation including s20 consultation in accordance with the procedures and timescales laid down in the relevant legislation.
To encourage homeowners to get involved through formal and informal channels to influence the service and participate in decision making that relates to their home, neighbourhood and community.
To work with colleagues in other teams (Finance and Asset Management) in the annual review, calculation and reconciliation of service charges and ground rents and responding to all enquiries from homeowners relating to these.
Complete tenancy audit visits to ensure legal occupancy, check on property condition, that we hold up to date data for our customers and to identify supports needs for our customers.
Essential:
Driving licence and vehicle owner is a must
Experience in housing sector or customer services environment.
Excellent skills in customer liaison and customer service Qualifications in GCSE, BTEC, GNVQ or equivalent Good numeracy skills with ability to calculate and analyse complex numerical data.
Knowledge of leasehold / tenancy management legalities and issues.
Fully Proficient on MS Office
