- Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to offer an experienced Marketing Manager - OTC Brand Management and FMCG to work for an internationally recognised brand name based locally to Epsom on a temporary contract until the end of November 2020.
The key objective of this role is to develop and implement strong consumer & Health Care Professional (HCP) focused plans that deliver sales and profit in line with agreed business objectives.
Key accountabilities:
Develop objectives, strategy and execution plans for your brand
Delivery of cut-through consumer communications across all touch points in collaboration with key agency partners, on time and on budget
Manage internal approval process of consumer facing communications in collaboration with regulatory and medical team
Collaborate with Sales Teams to design and implement innovative merchandising recommendations and POS materials
Lead the evaluation of all marketing activities and make recommendations for future plans
Lead analysis of brand in market performance providing recommendations for optimisations / corrective action where necessary
Manage brand marketing budget and give recommendations for optimisation where appropriate
Ensure, in collaboration with cross-functional teams, financial targets are delivered for your brand/s
Work with the Sales Teams to build and present account specific launch plans and sales forecasts
Attend retailer meetings to present brand strategy and plans when needed
Performance Measures:
Deliver annual net sales and profit targets in line with Budget
Meet consumer sales growth and market share targets
Execute agreed brand plans to time and budget
Effectiveness of cross functional working
You must be able to demonstrate:
Good working knowledge of AC Nielsen and Kantar data P&L literate
Ability to coordinate complex and interrelated projects
Strong sense of urgency and desire to achieve objectives
3-5 years’ experience in OTC Brand Management role, with working experience of PAGB compliance processes
Track record of developing winning plans across the marketing mix and strong awareness of UK media landscape including digital and PR
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to form collaborative relationships Strong competence in data analysis and insight development Strong commercial acumen and grasp of the brand P&L and its drivers
