- Lloyd Recruitment Services, are delighted to offer a 1st line Help Desk Engineer role for a local company close to Epsom.
They pride themselves of their friendly and professional service, and exceeding customers expectations at all stages.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
As part of a team of inhouse and external engineers, you will be required to help support and maintain computer networks at all levels.
Monitoring remote and workstation systems, as well as the server.
Report on and resolve faults reported by the monitoring system.
Answer technical calls from customers and log the cases in.
Provide 1st line technical support to the IT and Telecoms customer bases.
Accurately record and maintain tickets when dealing with incidents and queries raised by customers.
Maintain Service Level Agreements on support tickets ensuring that customer problems are resolved to a satisfactory conclusion or escalated to the correct team.
Pass cases that require 2nd/3rd line support to the relevant Helpdesk Engineering team.
Once trained up (approx. 2-3 months), you’ll be included on the team rota for out of hours/on-call cover (which is also reflected in an increase in your basic salary).
Supported technologies include Microsoft Server 2016, Exchange, Office 365, Cisco Meraki and Zyxel firewalls, Solarwinds, Sophos Anti-virus.
The Package:
£16,000-£18,000 depending on experience, plus an additional £1734 on joining the out of hours rota.
Overtime
20 days holiday (Jan – Dec) plus UK bank holidays
