What you will need:
You should be capable of operating as a senior member of the team as well as running accounts smoothly, foreseeing and addressing potential problems. You must be able to plan, deliver and execute to manage expectations on all sides.
To be able to make strategic decisions and provide expert counsel – both to the client and team – based on your own expertise and understanding of client needs
To be Forward thinking, challenges self, team and client to think beyond today’s solutions
To have extensive proven experience in delivering B2B technology PR and / or social media campaigns
To be a fully rounded PR operator with a thorough understanding of the media and communication skills, and business skills required to grow client accounts – by expanding the account services or scope – within the context and plans of the agency
Proven experience researching case studies, writing, and running social media campaigns
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with a can-do attitude and flexible working style
What you will be doing:
You are ultimately responsible for implementing the strategies and activities as detailed by your account managers/directors, as well as proactively looking for opportunities or devising ideas to contribute to the team effort. Your duties will include:
Adding value to the media strategy process in both the new business/strategic planning stages and the on-going execution of media campaigns
Develop and maintain relationships with key journalists and mentor junior team members on building relationships with relevant journalists
Overseeing the management and organisation of events where required
Developing useful and relevant business contacts.
Alert clients to risky PR situations and provide high-level advice on strategic issues and media handling issues, including crisis management
Assessing the team on the results they achieve
Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to the team by setting the context, defining accountabilities, and delegating tasks and assignments
Establishing and maintaining effective managerial practices to build an engaged and high-performance team
