- Lloyd Recruitment Services are happy to be working alongside our Epsom based client on a brand new role. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Technician with a keen eye for detail to join their respected Equipment Engineering department.
This is a hands-on job witha great deal ofvariety,and you will be required to work within a small dedicated team repairing machinery within the in-house workshop as well as on clients premises (should the need arise). The ability to work with minimum supervision and whilst showing initiative is essential.
The successful candidate will have proven practical skills or a transferable skillset with hopes to become a key asset to the technical support team.
Responsibilities
Fault find and repair small hand power tools, to be able to report for quoting, arrange ordering of spare parts.
Enter up engineer reports to computer spreadsheets
Able to fault find with larger machinery and repair accordingly
Re-condition and build machinery and equipment so as to be sold as used items
Inspect new machinery delivered and sign off ready for dispatch.
Make necessary upgrades to suit the English market prior to dispatch
Carry out metalwork modifications, welding and spray painting
Able to make collections and deliveries to clients
An understanding of the equipment being worked on and be able to carry out basic demonstrations/training of how machinery works

Confident with communication- face to face and by telephone
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to use computers confidently and competently
