At Lloyd Recruitment Services we believe in a personal approach for both candidates and employers we work with. This is why we always register all our candidates either in person or via video/telephone. We like to get to know the real you and make sure we have a complete understanding what you are looking for.

Your registration appointment is an opportunity for you to build a relationship with your recruitment consultant. This process is vital for exploring the types of clients that would be the best fit for you and your skill set. We are looking to find the perfect candidate for our clients and a role that you will be happy in. Although this is an informal meeting, it is still important to display yourself in a good light so that we can pass your CV onto our valued clients with confidence.

What do I need to bring when I register with you?

We require you to provide proof of your right to work in the UK, so your passport or National Insurance and full birth certificate or Settlement Status. If you are from outside of the EU please bring your visa, your passport, and an NI number.

A CV is a must and ideally emailed to your consultant prior to your meeting. Take the time to make sure it holds all the most up to date information – especially your recent employment and contact details.

Do I need to take any tests when registering?

We may ask you to complete some computer-based skills tests, dependant on the job you are looking for. These can either be done at our offices or from home. However, we will always advise you of these prior to the appointment.
What will the recruitment consultant ask?
They will discuss what you are looking for in your new job, your salary expectations, reasons for leaving other job roles as well as telling you about the types of vacancies they recruit for. Be honest with yourself and your consultant in terms of the types of jobs you are looking for and likely to seriously consider.
The market is extremely competitive and there are a lot of skilled people out there all aiming for the same job. Therefore, it is important to set yourself apart and sell yourself as much as you can. If we believe in you and think you are great candidate, then we will be able to go that extra mile to secure you that dream job!

Lastly its vital you keep open a good line of commination with us moving forward. Although we completely appreciate you might be in current positon, make sure you take the time to reply to emails and calls. This keeps the process flowing nicely and secures you that new job as quickly as possible!
