Description

Lloyd Recruitment Services is pleased to be working with a manufacturer on the outskirts of Horley who is seeking a Sampling Assistant to join their team. We are open to full-time or part-time candidates, ideally available to work across 4/5 days.

  • Sampling Assistant

  • Salary £23k - £28k pro rata

  • Monday to Friday – flexible on hours

Responsibilities & Tasks:


Sample management:



  • Unpack and correctly label all incoming samples

  • Maintain and manage samples in both the office and storage areas

  • Pack and post all samples

  • Provide proof of delivery upon request

  • Pick, log, and dispatch sample requests for customer delivery

  • Collaborate with buying and sales teams to gain a comprehensive knowledge of all brand products

  • Order office supplies as needed

  • Perform daily and weekly housekeeping duties to ensure the office and warehouse are always clean and tidy


Ad hoc office duties:



  • Prepare for external meetings

  • Direct phone calls to the appropriate person

  • Communicate with contractors for office maintenance


Skills, experience & requirements:



  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

  • A can-do attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile

  • Physical ability to lift samples as required

  • General computer and data entry skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Ability to learn products to provide knowledgeable assistance to customers

Salary £23k - £38k depending on experience
