Branch Manager

Lloyd Recruitment Services are working on a fantastic job opportunity for a Branch Manager to join a market leading company based in Watford.

You will be responsible for all aspects of running and maintaining an efficient Branch operation, along with managing and providing support to a team of 4.

Our client is looking for someone from a retail or customer facing background, ideally with a passion for home improvements.

• Working hours 7:30am-5:00pm, Monday – Friday plus 1 or 2 Saturdays per month (working 9:00am-12:30pm on a rotational basis)

Responsibilities:

• Managing a team of 4


• Handling customer enquiries and sales in person, over the phone and through emails


• Scheduling work for engineers


• Processing new orders


• Assisting with stock control


• Loading and unloading vehicles (some heavy lifting will be involved)


• Liaising with work colleagues and suppliers about any issues


• Checking the condition  and quantities of all delivered goods against delivery notes

Essential Skills:

• Clean driving licence


• Supervisory / managerial experience


• Experience with customer facing roles, administration, and sales


• Clear communication skills


• Organisational skills


• Ability to manage time and workload effectively


• IT literate


• Good attention to detail


• Ability to work within a team environment

Desirable:

• Experience working within the construction industry
