Lloyd Recruitment Service's have partnered with a Crawley business who are in search of an Experienced Accounts Assistant to grow their team.

Position Summary
The Accounts Assistant will be reporting into the Financial Controller but will have various interactions throughout the organisation. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with and assist different departments across the business.

Salary up to £32,500
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
28 days a year to include bank holidays

Responsibilities and Duties
Entering data into an Excel sheet to create budgets for specific sites (project/contract costs)
Generating reports for the Managing Director
Highlighting differences between actual and budgeted figures in reports, along with detailed insights and the current status of corrective actions
Transferring summarised Excel information into the ERP system for streamlined data management
Managing the contract change process and ensuring precision in ERP budgets
Monthly reporting on the actual vs budgeted financial performance at the site level
Managing site-level client reconciliations, especially when billing 1/12th of an annual cost monthly, and accurately tracking month-to-month expenditures
Collaborating closely with the operations team to ensure strict adherence to budgets
General assistance of the Financial Controller in the preparation of monthly accounts
Establishing and administrating workflows to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and align with organisational objectives
Supporting users in the preparation of custom reports and dashboards
Assisting with sales and purchase ledger entries, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
Handling expenses and credit control processes to ensure accurate financial tracking and compliance
Desirable skills and Experience
Previous experience working within an Accounts/Finance team
Further experience with bookkeeping, accounts, or finance
Strong MS skills, especially Excel
Management of new users & permission controls
No prior knowledge of the CRM System required (full training will be provided), however, previous experience working with an ERP or similar system advantageous
Due to the location - own transport is required
