Yard Sales Operative

Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a leading company based in Forest Row, who are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated individuals to join their team and progress.
 
The vacancy is for a Yard Sales Operative.
 
This isn’t your usual Yard role. This is a varied position involving yard work and operating a Mill. The company will offer you further responsibilities, progression and you will join a very friendly and hard-working team.
 
Your day-to-day duties will include:
 

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles


• Sorting through stock


• Moving supplies to storage areas


• Picking and packing orders


• Dealing with customers


• Unloading the products from the mill


• After training – operating and managing the Mill yourself


• Working to schedule to ensure on time delivery to customers

 
Desirables:
 

• Previous yard/ warehouse experience


• The ability to work well with others


• Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations


• The ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure


• Excellent verbal communication skills


• The ability to work well with your hands


• Physically fit and this is a manual handling role


• Thinking and reasoning skills

 
Requirements:
 

• Driving licence and access to own transport


• A team player


• A good level if written and spoken English


• To be thorough and pay attention to detail


• To be flexible and open to change

 
Hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am – 5pm and 1 - 2 Saturdays in 4 working 8am – 1pm
 
Salary: Up to £24,500
 
Full, ongoing training will be given and there are plenty of opportunities for progression for the right person
