Lloyd Recruitment Services have partnered with a leading company who are in search of a Sales Executive to join their growing team in based on the outskirts of East Grinstead.

About the Role?
The Sales Executive will mainly focus on building and maintaining relationships to enable them to enhance revenue streams within the existing accounts as well as bringing on new customers.
You will be working alongside a Senior Account Manager and will be responsible for meeting monthly GP targets, whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. For their perfect Sales Executive, they are looking for a self-motivated person who is passionate about customer engagement and continually extending their knowledge to enable them to give best advice and become a valued resource for the customer.
What is in it for you?
The starting salary is up to £24,000 plus quarterly bonuses and monthly commission. Genuine year one OTE £28,000 - £30,000 plus a fast-moving career.
Responsibilities and Duties
Maintaining new business generation and account management, with the focus on establishing and nurturing leads and new contacts. This includes, making outbound cold calls, support and involvement in call out days, and following up on all marketing leads.
Supporting customer engagements such as meetings, networking events, and helping to understand their needs and offering a solution.
Negotiating purchase of required products and services with company suppliers.
Ongoing training from vendors and other third parties to refresh and extend knowledge as well as Webinar training always available to increase knowledge and awareness.
Proactive management of renewals looking for upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Skills Required
Have a good standard of literacy and numeracy with GCSE grade 4 or above in Maths and English
Disciplined and self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Familiarity and good level of proficiency with MS Office suite of products (or willingness to develop)
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Ability to actively listen to a customer’s needs and match to appropriate products and services
Engaging and approachable – able to build and maintain good relationships
Self-motivated – able to work productively and organise workload
Innovative and creative – always looking at ways to create additional contacts, understanding when a “No” could be a “Maybe” or even a “Yes”
Tenacious / resilient – can overcome objections / sees the positive, moves on to the next challenge, picks their battles
Driven – understands their targets, owns their targets, controls their results
Focus on productivity and an appreciation of commerciality and business critical activity
Ideally you will have some experience working in a commercial environment dealing will customers over the phone and email (desirable)
