- Lloyd Recruitment services is currently seeking an Exhibitions Logistics Coordinator to join a leading business in organising freight for events and exhibitions. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments from start to finish, ensuring that all goods are delivered on time and in the correct condition.
Key responsibilities:
Organising road-freight groupage and full-load shipments
Managing all aspects of the shipment process, including customs clearance, documentation and billing
Liaising with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure smooth delivery of goods
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Travelling abroad on business when necessary
Key requirements:
Proven experience as a freight forwarder, with a focus on road-freight groupage and full-load shipments
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Willingness to travel abroad on business when necessary
Own car essential for commute to the premises
Additional information:
Location: Outskirts of Edenbridge - Must be a car driver due to location
Salary: £30K - £36K (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday
Benefits: Company Bonus
One hour paid break for lunch
Must be willing to travel abroad 4/5 times per year for events / exhibitions
