Location: Ipswich
Job Type: Temporary position until December 2023
Salary: £225 – £350 per day (Umbrella & Inside IR35) / Up to £225 per day (PAYE)
Working for this international Financial Services business, yourgoal is to help reduce outstanding payments, shorten the time it takes to receive payments, and manage reserves within our client’s international operations.
This involves organising and leading meetings and calls with international teams to develop and track specific actions for colleagues to address outstanding issues, such as contacting clients and following up on overdue payments.
Tasks:
Engage in calls to address overdue payments, changes in reserves, specific outstanding debts, and set targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
Analyse accounts receivable (AR) listings and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), collaborate on targets, organise future meetings, and plan agendas and participants.
Keep records of discussions (minutes), track the status of promised debt recovery, and provide updates on progress or issues to the International Finance team.
Skills & Experience:
Self-starter with attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in a multi-national environment
Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
Deadline-driven and confident in your own initiative
Strong communication skills
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
