- Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with an independent, family-owned business situated on the outskirts of East Grinstead, specialising in the manufacturing and production of products for the construction industry and the building trade. Our established client is currently seeking a Salesperson to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key responsibilities:
Utilise your construction industry experience to provide expert advice to both trade professionals and the general public
Prepare quotations and estimates using our in-house ERP system
Process sales orders efficiently through our ERP system
Collaborate closely with the Production Manager to ensure accurate and timely manufacturing
Negotiate and procure necessary materials
Ensure thorough understanding and fulfilment of customer requirements
Act as a problem solver on behalf of our customers
Identify and expand new customer opportunities
Foster and nurture customer relationships
Efficiently manage your own workload
Occasionally undertake delivery duties, if necessary
Preferred qualifications and experience:
Proficiency in the building trade and a solid grasp of the construction process (desirable)
Prior experience in sales to both construction professionals and the general public
Familiarity with production and manufacturing processes
Ability to interpret design drawings
Experience conducting site surveys and on-site measurements
Demonstrated product knowledge within the construction trade
Competency in using computers and systems
Strong mathematical skills
Possession of a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to location
Benefits:
Competitive annual salary ranging from £27,000 to £30,000, depending on experience.
Standard working hours from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm, and Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (no Bank Holiday working)
