- Lloyd Recruitment Services are looking for an experienced Locksmith to join a well-established company based in Reigate.
This position will see you mainly on the road attending to customers address’s (whether they are commercial or private residential) in and around Reigate and sometimes travelling into London. Company van and phone will be provided.
The rest of your time will be based on site where you will assist with carrying out day to day key cutting, giving advice to customers and responding to queries by email or face to face.
8 hour working days, between 8am and 6pm (4 weekdays and Saturday and 5 weekdays on a 2-week rota) No call-outs at present but with an option to add them later in their contract of employment.
Paying up to £38,000pa DOE
The ideal candidate will be able to work quickly, carefully and thoroughly through work allocated during the day and report back any problems, faults and job completions immediately. Must have a full UK drivers license.
Must have experience in all aspects of locksmithing, including:
Intercom and access control repairs
Fitting of new locks to wooden, upvc and aluminium doors
Opening of all door types without damage and NDE (Non-destructive entry)
Fitting of small Safes up to 220kgs
Be able to service aluminium doors and replace transom closer and other parts.
Install new fire doors (cut to size) and fit related hardware.
Service and install fire exit hardware
Diagnose and repair locks to upvc, wooden and composite doors.
Cut all types of keys.
Be able to pin cylinders to master key standard.
Will be expected to have knowledge of or be able to learn the programming of vehicle keys.
