- Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to be working with a well-known charity to support them in finding a Volunteer Outreach Coordinator whose role will be to engage, support, and manage teams of volunteers across the country.
You will do this by making sure volunteers have the tools and resources they need to be effective and by sharing good practices and ideas across all volunteer communities. You will reach out to volunteers proactively and attend regular committee meetings across the UK to discuss resources available to them and be a central point of knowledge for all volunteers and regional staff to increase impact and community engagement.
This will be a 2-year fixed term contract with the opportunity of a permanent role to the right candidate, paying £26,000pa.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and impactful charity, working with a team of passionate individuals. The role is hybrid-based, with a mix of remote and office-based work in Wallington, and travel to sites across the country 1-2 times a month (all travel expenses paid)
To be considered for this role, we are looking for someone who:
Is a real people’s person who is a team player and confident to take initiative and share ideas.
Has the ability to build strong relationships with staff and volunteers at all levels.
Is flexible and has the ability to travel across the country 1-2 times a month, sometimes with overnight stays.
Has previous experience liaising with multi agencies and managing a team
Has proven experience working with a charity in volunteer management, outreach, and community engagement is essential.
Interviews for this role will be taking place on the 9th May with start dates to follow.
