If you have experience working within retail jewellery or any other retail with a willingness to learn and grow your knowledge, then we have the role for you.

 

We are looking for a part-time sales associate to join a family- owned retail jewellery store based in Reigate, 3 – 4 days per week paying £11ph.

 

The shop is located in a vibrant community and offers a unique selection of fine jewellery, watches, and accessories. They pride themselves on providing exceptional customer service and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for their customers.



On offer is the opportunity to work in a thriving, small, family-owned business.  You will receive 28 days of holiday (pro-rata for part time employment) and a staff discount (available after probation period).



Responsibilities will include:

• 
  Safely opening and closing the premises in accordance with procedure and ensuring the security of the premises, keys and stock.


• 
  Greeting customers and assisting them in their search for the perfect piece of jewellery


• 
  Offering product recommendations and upselling when appropriate


• 
  Conducting sales transactions and handling payments


• 
  Building relationships with customers and providing excellent after-sales service


• 
  Maintaining the appearance of the shop and ensuring it is clean and tidy at all times


• 
  Completing day-to-day admin as required.


• 
  Assisting with inventory management and restocking merchandise as needed


• 
  Liaising with workshops and suppliers to ensure smooth-running of the business and a positive working relationship in accordance with procedure.


• 
  Working to a professional standard and maintaining the integrity of the business, both inside and outside working hours.


• 
  Maintaining client and business confidentiality at all times and complying with GDPR

Ideal candidate will:

• 
  Prior retail sales experience, preferably in a jewellery shop or similar environment


• 
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• 
  Strong customer service orientation


• 
  Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment


• 
  Knowledge and interest in fine jewellery and watches would be ideal
